Our comprehensive Child Care program includes the provision of nutritional meals provided on-site based upon the New York State Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP) requirements for children. In fact, our food program far exceeds the minimum requirements set forth by CACFP and we are proud to report that our food not only exceeds the minimum quality/quantity of foods recommended by the Food Pyramid but our meals are also always delicious! Children are provided with 3 nutritious, delicious meals a day – a morning snack, lunch, and supper.

Additionally, we have a medical program that ensures all children’s immunizations are monitored and that minimum health standards are maintained. Staff members are trained in CPR and First Aid. In short, East Tremont provides a safe and nurturing environment that allows the space and materials for our children to develop to their fullest potential – physically, emotionally, socially, mentally, and cognitively.
